Maya kalender Event Planning Starts With The Right Date

We all agree that no two days are alike, but did you know that each day has its own unique energy? When you are planning any type of event how much does the date mean? Most of the time we chose a date by feel, but you can supercharge your event by choosing a date with an energy that supports the occasion.

Choosing the right date for your occasion is really all about relationships. If you dont think that the cosmos or the global energies affect you, think twice. The tide is affected by the moon. There are many tools that can be used to look into the overtones of a day so you can choose the right time for your event.

A popular tool for looking at the date you have selected is numerology. This practice dates back to the earliest of times. There are actually five styles of numerology: Kabbalah, Chaldean, Pythagorean, Abracadabra, and New Kabbalah. You can use numerology for both the event and the key people involved.

To see the highs and lows for a day you can use biorhythm. This analysis is based on a date of birth, and may be best used to see how the event date fits for each of the key people, for example with a wedding you can review the numbers for both bride and groom.

Astrology is a commonly used method that can be very generalized or delve deeply into a very relational interactivity between the planets and the birthdate of the key people in your event. Astrology takes years of training, so you might want to turn to an expert.

Of all the tools I mention in this article they all give a snapshot into the day or the people involved in the event. Any one of these tools can be used individually or collectively. I like to delve a little deeper, and for that reason I also bring in a look at the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.

Given a choice in day analysis tools I use the lesser known but very powerful Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. With this tool I can clearly see the interactivity of a day or multi-day event and the individuals involved is through the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar.

Maya kalender Important Information On 2012 Mayan Prophecies

Today there is a lot of discussion about what events are going to occur on or around 21st December 2012. Most of the theories have their origin in Mayan culture, but very few people actually understand what the 2012 Mayan prophecies actually state.

The Mayan people had a deep understanding of astronomy and our solar system. They understood the intrinsically cyclic nature of celestial bodies and the effect that this has on human consciousness.

They were aware that our sun synchronizes with the centre of the galaxy every 6, 000 years and that this can create a change on a planetary scale here on Earth as the sun will give off more solar flares and its magnetic field can alter dramatically. They believed that this galactic alignment may result in a massive cosmic event that results in dramatic physical changes on our planet.

In their prophecies the Mayans mention "a time of no-time". By this they refer to the twenty years that lead up to the end of the long count calendar in the year 2012. They suggest that during this time man will become more aware of his position in the cosmos. It is often said that the Mayans predict that the world will come to an end in December 2012, this is a complete myth as they actually state it will be the end of one great cycle and the beginning of the next.

They call this new era "the Golden Age". The Mayan prophecies suggest that it will be a time of enlightenment for mankind. The period of greed and fear will come to an end and will be replaced by a civilization that has great enlightenment. The Mayans believe that this is only one of five such quantum jumps that have occurred throughout the history of mankind.

In 2012 they predict that it will be another manifestation of a quantum leap in human consciousness and development which will lead to greater harmony and compassion.

Maya kalender Ancient Mayan Civilization: Will We Die In 2012?

The question "Will we die in 2012 because the Mayan calendar runs out?" is being asked with increasing frequency as we move from 2009 in 2010 and beyond. Supposedly, the world is going to end in 2012 when this calendar runs out of days, though it is just as often the case that just as many people are able to point to a myriad of apocalyptic scenarios that have never proven themselves out in history.

As to the specific nature of the calendar itself and whether or not it really does run out and what it can portend for all of us, many experts have taken the time to study it and most will say that the calendar itself actually doesn't run out. They make no guarantees, though, about these apocalyptic or end-time scenarios because they are not a matter for logic but are, rather, a matter for emotion.

The so-called "2012 phenomenon" is usually the name given to a wide range of beliefs and proposals put forth over the years that say some sort of apocalyptic, cataclysmic or even transformative event will occur in 2012, with the most common dates being in December of that year. Depending on who is doing the calculating, December 21 or December 23 are the two days believed to be most important.

These forecasts are arrived at by looking at what the Mayan Long Count Calendar -- as the calendar is more formally known -- and then calculating its beginning point and its ending point, which is said to be 5125 years away from the beginning. The arguments in support of this apocalyptic vision are mainly drawn from mythology and archeo-astronomical calculations that may or may not be correct.

Additionally, many predictions for something occurring on December 21 or December 23, 2012 make use of certain numerological calculations and even prophecies made by extraterrestrial beings that are non-falsifiable, meaning that there is no way to prove them false because they do not exist on the plane of existence with which we, as humans, are familiar or which most likely does not even exist.

For the most part, any real scholar of Mayan history, culture and society can make a very logical and convincing argument that there is no real "end" to the calendar which supposedly occurs in the year 2012. Additionally, modern Mayans are almost uniform in considering the year 2012 to be a fairly irrelevant occurrence within the context of the calendar. Lastly, much of Mayan history is obscure.

The range of actions that could occur in 2012 read like a smorgasbord of apocalyptic or transformative vision wish-lists. Some predict that the planet will align with a black hole or that we will collide with a planet that has left its orbit or that our poles will shift. Most of these predictions have been rejected as being pseudoscientific, at best. Almost every scenario tends to violate the laws of physics.

Humans, as a species, tend to be attracted to apocalypse because it holds such a frightening allure, meaning as it does the extinction of our race. Throughout history, people have flocked to apocalyptic movements, none of which have ever actually experienced success. The proof of that is that we are still here, though most any movement manages to come up with an excuse for why the apocalypse did not occur that time.
